Recently......

in my world things have been up and down. Not long after my last post was was uncle put in hospital by a pissed up bellend that threw him down the stairs. After being told he shouldn't of even survived the fall the surgeons where called in as he had multiple fractures and breaks to his neck and spine. They did there job and did it well but whilst under he had a series of strokes. One that hit him in a bad way and completely shut down his brain. On the Saturday 30th August my parents and other close family members where called to the hospital as he wasn't responding and was brain dead. They decided to turn his machines off and at 4:16pm he passed away.

The son of a bitch that did this to him is now waiting trail for manslaughter and I hope to hell the shit rots in jail. Karma's a bitch and will eventually come bite you back on the arse.

Following that we have had good and bad news. The good being that we can take out our kitchen as we've ordered a new one.

Matts doing his best to get everything ready for the plaster who is coming on the 7th October. And the kitchen arrives
On the 10th !

But like I said I have had more bad news yesterday at tea time another of my family members passed away. I may not have lived close to them or spent a lot of time with them as the live at the other end of the country but I loved my uncle Ian like crazy. He was a fabulous and intelligent man who like me loved to hoard and collect. Heaven seems to be gaining more and more angels recently. And I still believe I did the right thing of having the quote 'Everybody has their own Angels' on my arm for all to see as I believe in it 100%

I guess that's all from me for now. Maybe later when I get home from work I'll give you an update on my creative world. As that's the one thing that seems to keep me focused recently !

Thought of the day !

15 August 2014

For the last couple of days I've been doing my thoughts of the day. I've been writing and illustrating my thoughts but for the last few days I've had no thoughts on anything until now !

Chavs
Ahhh chavs. Burberry, tracky loving, cap wearing scally's. And oh how they annoy the shit out of me.

I'm writing this now as I'm sat on the bus going to work with two chav bastards behind me talking about 'birds', (what they call females) Drugs and there life on the dole. All they seem to be saying is 'f*ing this' and 'f*ing that'. I can't even understand half of what there bloody saying it just sounds complete and utter gibberish.

So my thought of the day is why do chavs have to be a drain on society !?

All they seem to do is not work, get pissed, get high, have a shit education because it's more important to have a social life and spend money on an £80 track suit because it's the in thing.

An annoying subject not just for me I think !

And that concludes Emma's Thought of the Day !

Do you read hardbacks, pocket books, or e-books? Why?

This is one of the questions that I was sent on the Book Blogging ideas from swapbot.

Do you read hardbacks, pocket books, or e-books?  Why?

I read a variety. I have hard back, paper back and ebooks.

Recently due to the lack of getting out and money I have been reading ebooks. But yesterday I decided to pull out one of my books that I'd thought about reading but haven't.

I miss the feel of a book and it annoys me how I always have to remember that I need to charge my iPad. I'm slowly detracting away from my iPad and books but now that I'm working i think that I can get away with adding to my physical book collection. Roll on payday !

13 August 2014

Things have been a little crazy recently which is why I haven't posted on here for a while.

What's new.....

We have been crazy with the house. Finally we have a living room. Our couch is in the floor is in and the walls and stairs are nearly painted. Matt has our new couch all set up at work and ready to get started. So by next week it maybe ready and waiting to come home.

The next new thing is I have set up my online stationery shop where you will find designed pen pal stationery by me. Plus my prints, notebooks / journals, and soon bookmarks and more.

The final bit of news is I have finally got a new job ! I'm now a new employee of Primark and yesterday was my first day ! It flew by rather quickly and I learned a lot. I'm looking forward to being apart of the team there and hope I will get something out of my time there. It's nice to meet new people and do something different.

I will be posting more on what's going on along with having this as my book blog also.

I joined a new swap called book blog ideas where your partner sends you 12 prompts on what to blog about in regards to books and I'm really looking forward to writing about them whether it be on here in my journal or both =]

Hope your all well !

Have a wonderful day

Thursday 24th July 2014

Time hasn't been on my side recently. It seems the days are just mushing together one minute it's Monday next its Thursdays then it's gonna be Monday again before I know it !

I managed to get a lot of post out this week so I'm looking forward to the replies and getting to know some of me new UK penpals.

As of today I've opened up my tumblr again I miss looking at all the cute and creative stuff that always filled my dashboard ! I wonder how long it's going to last. I remember how addicted I was in uni and loved and met some fantastic penpals and people on there.

I've started reading ' The Life of Moaning ' by Karl Pilkington it's fantastic it's so funny and he's a true manc lad ! The way he's written the book is so funny. His view of life is epic and I agree with quite a lot he writes and is opinionated on. If your into comedy writing / books then I truly recommend this !

The weather is so hot here that me and the dog has stayed at home all week whilst I've worked as it's far to warm in the office !

Here are some pictures from my week so far !

He managed to get gloss all over his face!

That's all from me for now I'm off to get dinner.

Decoration day !

The plaster has dried all because it's been so warm !

We went over the walls yesterday with a white wash of paint and it's covered really well. We now have uber straight and smooth walls and bits rather exciting.

Yesterday we went all out painting and glossing and figuring out where we was putting our car boot frames. We managed to arrange them in a rather cool way and now all they need is painting and deciding what's going in them.

Everything seems to be working out fantastic now and tonight we can go home from work and paint some more. We should be done painting and glossing  by mid week. After that it's onto the floor and adding all our stuff into the room.

Thursday 10th July 2014

Today has been a good day...

The plaster finished today ! My living room is another step further to being finished. Now it's just a waiting game !

I've never been so excited about seeing smooth straight plaster on the walls hehe!

It looks a little rough but it's not now !

I got a beautiful postcard from one of my lovely pen pals from Ireland. It went straight up on my wall.

So pretty !

I managed to get a few pen pal letters written and sorted for posting tomorrow. It's been quite productive. I've also got myself a new pen pal from America who is looking for long lengthy letters which I am more than happy to do. I love writing to new people !

Today I've also decide to join in with the doodle a day challenge that ellolovey has posted on her Instagram. Here is a shot of the challenge if you want to have a go and what little doodles I have done so far =]

There nothing special but they started off many more thoughts and ideas so I was more than happy to just quickly draw the first thing that came to my head when I read the word. Looking forward to seeing what else happens.

That's all from me for now

The Wall of Love & Art !

I've been getting so annoyed with having postcards and bits of art lying around on my desk ready for when I get the chance to find something to put them on in my craft room and display them for all to see that I didn't really consider just sticking them to the wall with my thin colourful strips of masking tape till yesterday !

I did a little test first though to see what it would do to the paint and I was quite pleased it didn't feel the need to chip off so I processed to go crazy !

Below are picture of my wall so far I'd hope I could fill it with people's are work who inspire me and postcards etc that I've been sent.

Enjoy looking over because I know I'm enjoying it. If anyone would like to swap art or postcards or anything I could put on my wall the please feel free to email me. ( icon on the left )

Enjoy !

Wednesday 9th July 2014

Today has been weirdly satisfying !

We have finally got a plaster in to do the living room walls which may I add are totally silky smooth ! It's incredible to touch...weird I know but touching plaster that's been done properly is like running your hand along a marble unit it's uber cool and smooth but well and truly stinks ! The whole house smells of plaster.

They are know on the road to drying which I'm hoping isn't going to happen to quickly as I don't want it to crack. Onwards and upwards with the decorating.

See look how lovely and flat it is......

Ahh so excited to have it all done and painted then we can put the floor down and go to crazy town with everything we want in there. Matt wants to get rid of our  Marvel Comic Coffee table but I've grown that attached to it I really do think we'd regret it so if stays for now and if I have to I'll make a place for it !

On the wall that the front room door is we've decided where going to have our what I like to call ' Frame Gallery ' we now have 12 frames that are different sizes and shapes and soon to be different colours to mix up on that wall with our mirror. I think that's probably going to be my favourite part on the living room. I'm totally going to add a ff girl into one of the frames ! That's not sad right ?
Ahh well !

So progress is under way.... I'll check back in with it all when something else major happens like actually painting.

This might all seem a little weird to you but having your own house and watching how it grows and changes from something that is totally dated to something that is completely modern is an extraordinary thing !

I hope your enjoying my updates and my blog.

Have a wonderful decor day !

Daughter of Smoke and Bones by Liani Taylor

Today I finished a great book for one of my swapbot swaps that actually only starts today but I couldn't help myself.

This is "Daughter of Smoke and Bones" by Liani Taylor.

I picked this book out of a selection of different genre of books for a July book club swap. At first I wasn't really to sure about it but because she was and art student I gave it a chance and was greatly rewarded.

I was surprised I finished it so quick, I didn't even realise how far I was into the book until I looked this morning before getting into the car and told myself I would finish it today and did.

If you haven't read this books nod your into mythical, human creature type fantasy the step into the work of Liani, it's so much fun. I raced through the end to find out what had gone on with Karou who is the main character in the story.

I'm not really one for being a fantastic write and review but if you have any questions then feel free to ask =]

Weekend Antics !

Friday was where it all started.....

I was suppose to be going to my cousins to spend time with her and my god daughter and whilst waiting for her to come home i was at my mums and started to feel rather shitty. I had a massive headache and didn't know what to do with myself. I was so tempted to go get in my old bed when my brother walked through the door with my nephew. I cheered up for all of a second when the bloody curdling screams started. I thought it was because he'd just woke up and he was a little cranky but it soon turned out to be a lot more !

My poor little baby mousse was crying in pain and it was awful !
It make it worse though because he can't tell you why or what is hurting and where. I was helpless and it annoyed me so the next best thing was to ring his stupid lazy bitch of a mother to see what had been going on thinking it might be his teeth. Turned out he wasn't picked up from her house but from her brothers the child was disgusting he smelled of B.O and sick and his face and neck was black with dirt ! Who let's a child go anywhere like that or even get in that state. I was furious !

After telling my parents he really needed to get into the bath my dad went to run one and my mum waiting for him to sort it out but at 18 month old even he knew he was filthy and disgusting and needed to get into the bath and get clean ! For 5 minutes he was moving my mum to the gate and she didn't realise until I said he was wanting to go get in the bath and that's what he was trying to tell her !

To think that's an 18 month old who can't talk knows that he needs to get in the bath and to be clean is a disgrace it shouldn't even get to that !

As soon as his little legs and hands where on them stairs he was back to his normal cheeky, mischievous, smiley self. All because he knew where he was going.

After me watching him play with his toys in the bath and him singing to the music that was on the iPod he was dry and clean and happy. There was no stopping him then, he was sat playing and barking orders to Ozzy trying to say 'leave' and 'sit' whilst playing with the ball. I was adorable seeing them both together like that !

After his bath pretending to go to sleep in my mums bed =]

Thomas finally started to get a little cranky and wanted to sleep so it was our cue to go home. No sooner had we got in and had tea was we all falling asleep also so it was an early night.

Saturday morning came along and I was quite fresh and a little on the sore side though going to bed early but it was time to get out of my empty lifeless bed as Matt had gone to work and let my pooch out. Next on the agenda was to FaceTime my mum and see how my mousse was ! It's like a ritual now on a Saturday morning me Facetiming him to see how he is. My brother answered and changed the camera round so that I could see him stood there watching the usual on tv....Cars !

After shouting him a few times he actually managed to pull himself away from the tv to give me the cheesiest grin and say hello in his little angel voice ! If I could have half the child that he is I will be more than happy and no matter what mood I'm in he always makes me feel better just by seeing his face.

Time to arrange my day around him and get David to come pick me up so I can spend the day with my best friend. There was no need to arrange anything though as Matt had just walked through the door and said about us going....so he could also check to see how his nephew was doing !

We got greater with the giddiest smilies little boy in the world and he was soo happy to see us !

This face is his cheese cheeky face haha ! Every time I say cheese now this is what happens ! He's such a poser. And below is after he'd climbed onto the couch to come sit with me and give me cuddles.

Every minute I get to spend with my best friend is a minute cherished and I hate leaving him so I sent matt back to deal with the dog and get some more paper taken off the walls why I stayed ! Me and my mum tend to drop him off at around 4pm and then in usually go home. Saturday was no different.

After getting home and sorting Matt out for his trip to Windermere I sent him on his way and settled down for the rest of the evening with the dog. This is what I got up too......

I watched Divergent for the 50th time and the finally gave in to heavy eye lids and went to bed.

Sunday was another creative day where I started off drawing in the morning whilst catching up on my weekly dose of Cat in the Hat.. For those of you who know me and know me well you'll know why for others who don't I have a slight unnatural obsession that I just can't shake.

Something new as has come around today. I had the urge to try and draw something different and use a medium I haven't touch for a while.... Paint !

This is the result of my creativeness.....and this is also how she still sits now....why? Because I don't know what to do with her.. Do I carry on with the paint or turn to my markers ? Really not sure..

Matt finally arrived home on Sunday evening I made tea and the we decide whilst we hadn't got anything else planned for the evening we'd go and watch one of our favs and a fantastic new realise......

Transformers ! I was totally expecting it to be packed and it wasn't ! I was shocked but resell its a bloody fantastic film full of autobot action ! If your a lover of these films then you really need to go watch it !

And that my lovely is a detailed description of my weekend ! I hope you all had action packed weekend and had sunshine and warmth.

Wednesday 2nd July 2014

Today has been slow again but fun....

This morning I was sat waiting for Matt's mum to come pick me up for work at 7:45am as him and his dad and brother went snowboarding at the chillfactore. It got to 8:00am and I thought maybe we was going in a little later than normal as they where out this morning it got to 8:15am and I thought something isn't right. After texting his mum and her not texting back I rang her and it turned out she was nearly at work and not coming for me at all. I was left at home with no money for food and my cigs ! Naturally I rang Matt giving him grief and then thought well they days my own now.

I remember I had some money on my card and decided I'd take a trip to the shop in a little bit of a whirlwind fury.

My bags ready and waiting for work......There still there now !

I decided to get back into my pj's which I literally live in and if I could go out in them without people thinking I was a weirdo I really would !

I got into my craft room and sorted a few things out on Swapbot. One of my swaps was ready to assign partners for the Blogspot Blog, I got on with that and then had a look to see if any of my other swaps where ready for me, but there wasn't any =[

Soon is was 10:40am and the post was here ! Yayyyyyy ! 3 Swaps from Swapbot and a new penpal letter ! Such pretty envelopes. I sorted through them and rated my partners and decided I was going to start writing back to my new pen pal whilst watching Top Gear.

I started the letter and wasn't happy with how it was looking so I decided to scrap it and walk away and go get dinner and read further with my new book for the Carpe Librum July Book Club Swap I am in. The books called ' Daughter of Smoke and Bones' Its a little on the weird side but quite catchy. I around the chapter 10 mark and it seems to be making a little more sense to me now. I'm looking forward to joining in this swap every month and trying out books I've not heard of and maybe stepping out of my comfort zone a little. I'll post a review of what I think of it later on in the month when I've finished it or post what I've written to my partner about the book.

I think for the rest of the day I'll get on with whatever needs doing around the house, re start my pen pal letter again, maybe make some more bookmarks and finish off the Illustration I started this morning also. It's only in it's early stages so it's not really worth blogging about yet.

I think I might take a trip and go see my mum and dad tonight as well. I haven't seen them since Friday....

I hope your day is filled with happiness and love.

Emma

Monday 30th June 2014

Well today has been slow but it usually works that way when I'm in work !

Today I should of been off and in for the plasterer but he decided to mess us about last night at about 9 o'clock so we ditched him. The guy came into my house thinking he owned the place Saturday morning telling me what I should and shouldn't do with my decorating. I think that put me off him from the start. Ahh well ! Next door seem to know someone decent so I guess it's a phone call and we'll see. Just another set back though....will I ever get my living room finished !?!?

Today again I've not done much ! I've sorted out a few things on the website, answers the phone took message but best of all I managed to spend £18 in the post office ! I guess that's what happens when you leave all of your post and do it all on one day. So I had swapbot and penpal letters going out to all of my Instagram lovelies.

As you might see from my Instagram pictures I did a bit of creating last night. I made a bookmark for a group swap and totally fell in love with it..... It's not mine though it's my lovely partners when they get assigned. I am rather tempted to make another one and keep this one though.

Tonight has become another creative night after being annoyed at a few people that are part of a swap I am in that includes my partner ! I decided that I was going to cut some more blank books marks and create a few.

These I've changed up a little with a few funky shapes here and there ! My first is quite simple and girly where as the second is just totally random with the London tube stickers.

I'm not keen on either of these but maybe someone will enjoy them in there most precious book. I still need to add ribbon but that's not a problem.

Anyways I've been up early and feel like I've slept for 10 mins so it's time to get the boys off the couch and into bed !

Night all !

Hello,

The following are questions I have answered for a Swapbot Swap. I love to answer questions especially about books and other stuff I'm interested in. Some of the questions stumped me a little but I managed to get through them.

The Secret Museum by Molly Oldfield
The Goddess of Roses by P.C Cast

3 Do you go to a library? If so, what do you currently have checked out there? If not, is there a reason?
Yes. We have a small library down the road from us they don’t have many books but I like to go to see what’s new in. I currently have The Secret Museum out.

4 Do you collect any authors/series or certain types of books?
Yes I collect series by:

P.C & Kristen Cast - The House of Night Series
P.C Cast - Goddess Summoning Series
P.C Cast - Partholon Series
Rachel Caine - The Morganville Vampires.
J.K Rowling - Harry Potter

I love Fantasy & YA Books mainly anything to do with Fairies, Mythical creatures, Wolves, Witches, Vampires.

5 Do you have a yearly goal on amount of books you want to finish?
No I’m thinking about starting a list of books to finish though as I have soo many I want to read.

6 Do you have an e-reader?
Yes I have iBooks on my iPad.

7 Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
I like to read several books at once. I tend to get distracted easily and unless its a book that can get my full attention I tend to read a few at a time.

8 Do you have a blog where you post about books? If so, give your URL
I have just set up a new blog that I will be posting about the books I’ve read, reading and want to read plus reviews. There’s nothing on there yet but I’m hoping to start soon ! http://patternandpaper.blogspot.com

9 Do you follow any blogs about reading/books? Which ones?
I have a few people I follow on instagram

10 Favorite book you’ve read this year (so far in 2014)?

14 Favorite place to read?
In bed or on the couch when no one is in and it’s nice and quiet with a lovely cup of tea.

15 What are your thoughts on book lending?
I will lend a book to someone I can trust wont ruin it or lose it. I lent my House of Night series and The Morganville Vampire Series to a family friend who is 13 and she took such good care of them. I would like to share them with my cousin but she has a younger brother who I’m frightened will destroy them.

16 What are your thoughts on pirated books?
Urm..I don’t know....I’m guilty of downloading one or two that I really really wanted to read and couldn’t afford them at the time but I’ve gone out and bought them when I’ve had the money as I like to have books physically

17 What are your thoughts on "Banned" books?
I don’t understand why books would be banned ? Is it down to religious reasons ? I dunno seems stupid. People should be able to read whatever they like without being judged.

30 What is the longest book you have ever read? The shortest?
Longest I think would have to be Breaking Dawn - Stephanie Meyer
Shortest I think would be Lenobia’s Vow - P. C Cast

31 How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews?
Not great because Authors have put there lives into these books and spent months / years creating them and it must be really disheartening but everyone likes and are interested in different things so what I might not like others might. I guess it balances itself out.

Crime, Books with rape or kidnap, Books with bad things happening to children.
Edit: I totally read this question wrong ! I'd have to go with slut books like Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm guilty of owning all of them. But that was because I liked how the front cover looked on the set and then a few weeks after everyone was going nuts so there sat there and I refuse to touch them !

36 What book do you recommend most to others?

Anything that’s on my to read list it probably the only time I get to sit and full concentrate on new books

41 The longest I’ve gone without reading.
A month or two

42 Name a book that you could/would not finish.
Allegiant - Divergent Series

43 What distracts you easily when you’re reading?
My Partner, the TV, the Dog.

44 Favorite film adaptation of a novel?
Divergent, The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter

45 Most disappointing film adaptation?
Twilight I think they missed out quite a few key points from the books Breaking Dawn especially

46 The most money I’ve ever spent in the bookstore at one time?
£60 I think that was online and I was buying a mix of reading and design books

47 How often do you skim a book before reading it?
Not very often if at all. I’d rather read it intently and if I don’t like it a few chapters in then I’ll either stop or skip on to see if anything is might be worth reading but I’ve never really been disappointed with a book.

48 What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through?
If I find another book that intrigues me more. I’ve done it recently I stopped reading Neil Gaiman Never Where to read the Divergent Series. I still haven’t gone back to it yet to finish it off.

49 Do you like to keep your books organized?
Yep. There currently in boxes at the minute but when I have them out on display there always all together in series and then the stray single books get put together. I can wait to get my new bookcase

50 Do you prefer to keep books or give them away once you’ve read them?
KEEP ! I never give them away ! I still have the Beatrix Potter Sets my mum bought me as a baby. They’ll be coming to there new home as well soon.

51 Do you read for enjoyment or to gain knowledge?
Both. Although the knowledge side of things has only just started recently. When I started to read The Secret Museum I was learning so much about different artist and there cultures that was fun to know about not like when your in School or College and your forced to read texts because it’s part of the Curriculum. I’ll definitely be going to the big library in town soon for more books on my favourite artists and other stuff I find interesting.

52 Name a book that made you angry.
Urm... I can’t think of one... There’s probably one from school that I read that made me angry.

53 A book you didn’t expect to like but did?
I really can’t think. I guess Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi I read quite a few bad reviews about it but when I read the write up on the book it sounded interesting and I really enjoyed her unique writing style.

54 A book that you expected to like but didn’t?
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer. I think it was because I liked reading the Twilight books and this was from another characters point of view and her little story of becoming a vampire but it was really bad. I didn’t want to know about anyone else really apart from the main characters and the special abilities they had. It was really weird read and almost as though she was looking to keep the books alive for just a little bit longer. Thinking about it now it annoyed me.

55 Favorite guilt-free, pleasure reading?
I’m not really sure what this means........

Saturday 28th June 2014

Today has been a long a productive day !

I work up at about 9:30am after going to be at 2am......I was transferring all of my pen pals information from my Filofax to my iPad. I really don't use the Filofax and I'm currently spending more time on my iPad so I thought why not ?

The kitchen has been doing my head in for days now it was a mess there was plates and cutlery everywhere glasses because Matt can't wash one he's used he has to bloody use all the ones that are clean then wait till I've washed them as he doesn't wash up !! So I decided today was the day that the kitchen got a full spring deep clean. I spent all morning doing that and with the bug for cleaning ( very rare for me ) I decided that I would go around the whole house and do what I can to tidy up. I've washed and put away clothing as since we moved in here we've just had a mound of washing...it's more like a small hill now.

Matt went to work early this morning so it was just me and deputy dog not that he's much help he'd rather make more of a mess. So all the house work was just about finished when Matt landed back home at about 1:30pm. The plaster turned up to look at the front room for Monday......Yeah I don't why either.....

Matt's managed to do a little more in the living room boxing in stuff and making things neat and clean for when this plasterer turns up on Monday and I decided I would have a tidy round my craft room and sit and write letters. I've managed to finish off a few that I'm behind on so that's good progress. I soon get bored when I'm writing my letters and have to switch things up by sorting out a swap or going checking on Matt and the dog or going outside for a smoke. ( Yes I smoke.....You'll get over it )

Turns out where going to Summat to Ate tonight for tea after me bloody taking stuff out for tea ! Nice one Matt ! I give up really I do he comes in a moans at me when I haven't got anything out and then moans at me when I do have stuff planned because he's arranged for us to go out without telling me !

Anyways......Bath time to get fresh for tonight and the dog must of had the same idea as he barged through the bloody door whilst I was getting out and decided it was his turn whilst the water was draining out. He's become quite partial to the odd bath now. So now we both smell divine thanks to my new Imperial Leather Wild Berry Foamy Soapy stuff I bought from Tesco's it's a new range there doing and yes I did buy it cause I thought the bottle was pretty! hehe.

Oo ! I managed to put a whole in my wall also ! I thought it would be clever to try put a nail in the wall so I could put up my washing lines to hang my postcards and art work and this is what I did instead so I sneaked back down with the hammer and nails and put them all back haha

I'm now sat here at my desk writing out this blog post after thinking it would be a great idea on keeping an almost Journal / Diary. Whether I keep it up or not is another question but for now it seems like a good idea and a wonderful way to look back on what I did on certain days even if it is something boring.

My Accessories for today ! I made a loom band..It kills your fingers making them without the loom plate thing whatever it's called...

That's all for now..

Something Truly Beautiful !

" As Dusk Fell, There Was A Magical Feel To The Evening; One Could Almost See Groups Of Fairies Flitting About The Shadowy Fields...."

The above quote or sentence I found on the back of the most extraordinary book this morning.

As you may know by now I'm a member of Swapbot. I'm signed up to quite a few swaps at the minute and very excited to be getting mail ! Not as excited as I was this morning though when I was stood at the back door letting the dog out and a heard a thud on the floor ! I ran to the hallway to find a thick package addressed to me with Journal / Smash Supplies Swap #5 on it. After feeling the package up I was convinced that my partner had sent me a smashbook.........that wasn't the case though !

I ripped into the package and pulled out the most stunning looking book and paper ! This was an entirely different kind of journal ! This was Fairyopolis. a Flower Fairies Journal ! When I opened it I was expecting blank pages with fairy partners paper but again that wasn't the case. I can't really describe to you how excited and curious and stunned I was by this book. I've always been into the idea of fairies and mystical creatures since I was little. In the note that Georgene sent me she said that she had three if these books and that it was time to let one go and she sent it me, she also said that she now has two, one that she can keep nice and one that she can cut up for projects ! I don,t really think I could do that but then again I'm one of them people that get far to precious over there book.

The pictures don't really do it much justice but I hope you'll enjoy my pictures and more importantly the journal.

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Georgene who sent me this wonderful journal. No words can describe how grateful I am for it !
